What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on a visitor's device by a web server when a page is loaded. They are widely used to make websites function more efficiently, to remember visitor preferences, and to provide aggregate information to site operators about how the site is navigated.

Cookies do not contain executable code. They cannot be used to access files on a visitor's device, and they do not transmit personal data unless that data was previously submitted by the visitor (for example, through a form).

Kalmor uses a limited set of cookies, described in detail below. Visitors may control which categories are active via the consent banner or browser settings.

Cookie Categories

Required

Functional Cookies

These cookies are required for the website to operate. They include the session cookie used to remember your cookie consent choice, and basic load-balancing cookies set by the hosting infrastructure. They cannot be disabled without preventing the site from functioning correctly.

Retention: Session or up to 12 months
Optional

Analytics Cookies

These cookies collect anonymised data about how visitors navigate the site — which pages are viewed, how long is spent on each page, and the general geographic region of the visitor. No personally identifiable information is attached to analytics cookie data. This data is used to identify which content performs well and where improvements might be made.

Retention: Up to 26 months — Opt-in required
Optional

Performance Cookies

These cookies measure the technical performance of page loads, including server response times and resource delivery. Data collected is aggregate and non-personal. It is used to ensure the site delivers content reliably across different devices and connection speeds.

Retention: Up to 12 months — Opt-in required
03

Managing Your Preferences

Visitors may adjust cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of this page. Selecting "Functional Only" disables all optional cookie categories while preserving normal site functioning.

Cookies may also be managed directly through browser settings. The following browsers provide built-in cookie controls:

  • Google Chrome — Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox — Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari — Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge — Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Cookies

Disabling all cookies via browser settings may prevent some site features from functioning as intended. Functional cookies in particular are required for the consent preference to be stored between visits.

04

Third-Party Cookies

This site embeds a Google Maps iframe on the contact page. Google may set cookies when the iframe is loaded. Kalmor does not control these cookies and cannot modify their behaviour. Visitors who prefer not to receive Google cookies may use the browser settings described above, or access the contact details directly from the footer without loading the contact page.

CDN-served libraries (fonts, icon libraries, animation frameworks) may set short-lived performance cookies. These are processed by the CDN provider and are not linked to visitor identity.

Kalmor does not embed social-media widgets, advertising networks, or any third-party tracking pixels. No cross-site tracking of visitor behaviour is conducted.

05

Policy Updates

This Cookie Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the technologies used on this site or in applicable regulatory guidance. The revision date at the top of the page indicates when the document was last amended.

Questions regarding this policy may be directed to [email protected].
